Bighorn River - Alberta, Canada
Bighorn River, Alberta, Canada

These shots are from the Bighorn river in Western Alberta. It is a truly classic waterfall run with a 50+ footer to start the day, followed by six or so drops of varying difficulty. Guy and I have been on the working too much wagon of late so it was nice to get out and dust the cobwebs off the MAC and lifestyler and run some cool whitewater. The canyon is deep and a walk out would be a daunting (if not impossible) proposition. Enjoy the pics, there will be more to come in the next few weeks.
As far as I know the Bighorn is still running at a sweet level, it might well be the best creeking option left in Alberta, so if you're in the area get on it.
Simon
